Last weekend, before I got poorly, we headed out to Meersbrook Park for a look round Bishops' House. It fascinates me everytime I go! Lydia enjoyed her first trip there too! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It takes a lot to beat Derwent Dam for me! I'm learning more about the history of Ashopton at the moment and stunning Derwent Hall. My understanding is that a lot of the Hall made it's way to Thornbridge Hall prior to the village being flooded... 🤔 In periods where the water is extremely low, one of the pillars at the end of the driveway can still be seen. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I've so wrapped up in commissions that I've forgotten to post anything to instagram! This is all I can show of this exciting wedding package, but I couldn't resist adding the quote (if you know, you know!) It won't be staying for the final design though. What have I missed? Thank you to everyone who has bought artwork and prints from me this year! I appreciate your support so much! I'm taking a little break after all the craft fairs and party arranging to recoup. My shop will open right through Christmas but nothing will be sent out until January 3rd (unless you ask nicely of course 😊)
